Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 12:00 PM on
Thursday February 15, 2007 at Ricky’s in San Leandro CA. by Dave Ledda,

Introductions
There were 16 attendees.
Chapter Officers: Dave Ledda, Sarah Aguilar, Nate
Vasquez and John Nava were present.
Old Business
The
minutes of November, 2006 were approved as presented.
Marty
Cooper presented our chapter proposed code changes for the upcoming TC meeting
to be held April 23-27, 2007. Some of the sections the Chapter submitted were
UPC 301.2, 301.4, 316.1.6, 413.1, 414.5, 418.0, 601.1, 610.8, 702.0, and UMC
105 and 106.
New Business
The chapter discussed further
programs for our meetings. Bob Adler will be doing a presentation with Phil
Ribbs assisting for our April meeting in preparation for the TC meeting in
April.
Discussion
The financial report was given by Nate Vasquez.
Phil Ribbs reported from IAMPO headquarters about
the ANSI accreditation for the codes. He stated the 2003 UPC and UMC are nearly
formally accredited by ANSI and will be in the very near future. The 2006 UPC
and UMC are in the initial process of applying for ANSI accreditation.

about the ProPress joining method for copper pipe
which can be used on hydronic as well as potable water systems.

Chairman Dave Ledda adjourned the meeting at 1:22 PM.
