CENTRAL CALIFORNIA CHAPTER
Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 11:55 PM on Thursday June 16, 2005 at the Waterfront Restaurant in Redwood City, CA. by John Wagner, Chapter Chairman of the Central California Chapter of IAPMO.
Introductions
Self introductions were made. There were 19 attendees. Chapter Officers present were Chairman John Wagner, Vice Chairman Marty Cooper, and Treasurer David Ledda. Also present were our guest speakers from Schlüter Systems, Sean Gerilimatos, Peter Nielsen, Dan Curtis and Truman Howard.
Old Business
The minutes from the meeting of May 19, 2005 were approved as written.
Marty Cooper, Chapter Vice Chairman, reported on information received from Angela Juarez
of IAPMO about our Chapter hosting an IAPMO Seminar. It is tentatively scheduled for the
first half of 2006.
Committee Reports
The treasurer, Dave Ledda, gave the treasurer’s report.
New Business
Brent Hipsher, CBO, Town of Portola Valley, notified the members that CALBO (California Building Officials Association) is working with ICC (International Code Committee) to provide certification for California Building, Plumbing, Electrical & Mechanical Inspectors. Brent is on the development committee and will keep the Chapter informed.

Break for Lunch
Presentation
Sean Gerilimatos, of the Schlüter Systems, gave an excellent presentation on Kerdi waterproofing membranes and Schlüter floor drains with integrated bonding flange. It currently meets the ANSI A118.10-1999 listing requirements under IAPMO Certificate of Listing and the interim Guide Criteria. The chapter would like to thank Sean Gerilimatos for his presentation and generous contribution to chapter.
Raffle
The chapter would like to thank Schlüter Systems for the raffle prizes.
Announcements
Please bring a door prize for a raffle next month.
The next meeting will be at the
Ricky's Restaurant in San Leandro on July 21, 2005.

John Wagner adjourned the meeting at 1:40 pm.
