Old Business
The minutes from the meeting of July 21, 2005 were reviewed and
accepted. About half the members present said they have viewed the website.
Bob Adler, Inspector, City of San Jose, gave a report of the Technical Committee in
Denver on May 2-6, 2005. There is a proposed amendment to the 2003 code to put back some
of the language that was taken out. Bob presented a document generated by Phillip Ribbs,
PHR Consultants on the controversial items that need to be discussed by the members who
will be going to the conference in Albuquerque this September. Phil Ribbs elaborated on
the subject matter and recommended all the members who will be attending the conference
to prepare their comments and recommendations based on scientific and empirical data.
Thank you, Bob and Phil for representing the chapter. It was proposed and passed
that a meeting be held on Sept. 15, 2005 to prepare for the conference.
